Admission Process to Our TNUSRB SI / Police Constable Coaching :
- Since the number of applications for admission into our TNUSRB SI / Police Coaching is far in excess of the available seats. We have chosen the principle of “first-come-first-served” as the basis of admission in our institute.
- The candidates or their representatives are required to be present at Roy Academy office, with the duly filled-up application form with two passport size photographs, photo copy of valid photo ID & Address Proof of the candidate.
- Payment mode: Fee is to be paid by cash / card. Fees once paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. Course fees includes: Classes, Class Tests ,Unit Tests, Mock Tests and Study Materials.
- After admission to any of the course, if there is any indiscipline or misbehavior on the part of the students, they may be expelled, without any explanation. The right to rusticate rests solely with the management.
- Allotment of batch is the discretion of the institute. Preference of batch may be offered to the students during admission, provided it is available.
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) conducts the exam for sub-inspector of police posts (Taluk, Armed Reserve, and Tamil Nadu Special Police). TNUSRB invites applications from fresh candidates and departmental candidates. The recruitment is held for these two categories together, however, the final merit lists are released separately for two different categories.
Tamilnadu SI Exam Eligibility
I. Tamilnadu SI Exam Eligibility – Age Limit:
Tamilnadu SI Exam Eligibility: Upper age limit is 28 years where as lower age is restricted to 20 years. Age relaxation is granted to reserved category candidates.
BC/MBC/DNC – 20 to 30
SC/ST – 20 to 33
Ex-Servicemen – Within 3 years from the date of discharge subject to a maximum of 45 years
II. Tamilnadu SI Exam Eligibility – Educational qualification:
The applicant must have completed a degree from any recognized university or institute.
III. Tamilnadu SI Exam Eligibility – Physical Measurement Test:
Physical Measurement Test comprises of height and chest measurement for men and height measurement for women. The minimum eligibility requirement is as follows:

TNUSRB Sub Inspector Selection Process
The selection process of TNUSRB consists following stages as listed below in order. 1. Written examination
2. Certificate verification
3. Physical measurement test
4. Endurance test
5. Physical efficiency test
6. Interview
Note: Those who clear the written test successfully shall be eligible to further stages in recruitment process. Candidates who declared successful at Physical Measurement Test will be called for endurance test. Endurance Test Running 1500 Mtrs. in 7 Minutes for male Candidates & Running 400 Mtrs. in 2 Minutes for Female Candidates. Those who failed are eliminated and the successful candidates are sent for Physical Efficiency Test.

TNUSRB Police Constable Exam Pattern
TNUSRB SI Exam Pattern : Written Test is conducted in different centers in tamilnadu. A single paper Written Test containing questions on General Knowledge and Psychology will be conducted. The answer sheets are computerized. The candidates applying to the post of Police
Constables / Jail warders / Firemen are required to secure minimum 40 marks out of 80 in the Written Test.Candidates will be called for Physical And Certificate Verification based on Cut – Off marks.
The duration of the Written Examination is 80 Minutes. Questions will be in objective type. Each questions carries 1 marks.
